SoCal Winds Cause Power Outages, Traffic Problems

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― Fierce winds raking Southern California are expected to diminish by Monday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol says big rigs were blown over and utilities reported downed power lines that left thousands of residents in the dark.

The National Weather Service says winds will diminish Monday, with gusts expected to peak at 50 miles an hour. Wind advisories are expected to expire at 2 p.m.
