Red Flag Warning Issued For Tuesday

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag warning for the Los Angeles area on Tuesday until 9 p.m.

Dry conditions and a low relative humidity are expected, which can lead to high fire danger.

Temperatures should range from the 70s along the coast to 100 degrees or more in the valleys and inland areas.

A brush fire that started Monday morning in Santa Clarita's Placerita Canyon burned about 900 acres. It was 70 percent contained Tuesday morning.

Cooler temperatures and higher humidities are expected for Wednesday.
