Here Comes The Rain... Again

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― The Southland will get more rain and mountain snow when a Pacific storm system moves in on Monday.

"Rain is expected to spread south and east across Ventura and Los Angeles Counties on Monday morning," according to a Weather Service statement. "The rain will persist through the afternoon then diminish to showers by early Monday evening."

About a half-inch to an inch of rain is expected, with the heaviest rain falling north of Los Angeles. Foothill and mountain areas can expect 1-2 inches, with higher amounts on south facing slopes.

Snow should fall above 5,500 feet in the mountains.
