Calif. Cuts May Affect 'Healthy Families' Program

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― California's Healthy Families Program provides almost one million children with health, dental and vision coverage.

Starting July 17, a potential enrollment freeze due to the budget crisis could keep new applicants out of the program.

Those who want the coverage need to apply before the deadline.

In order to qualify, you must be a U.S. Citizen, meet income guidelines and have children ages 18 and under.
