Vinyl Albums Make Big Splash In L.A. Scene

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Vinyl records are making a comeback in Los Angeles… that's right vinyl records!

Three records stores have opened that sell them in the L.A. area and are doing quite well, even during the recession and in a digital marketplace.

Origami Vinyl opened up in Echo Park and is also a record label, along with a record store. It's located at 1816 W. Sunset Boulevard, Echo Park Calif.

The second store, which is called Vacation Vinyl, is in Los Feliz on 4670 Hollywood Boulevard.

Radio in Downtown is the third record shop that opened up which is selling Vinyl records.
