The Sheep Fire is being driven by gusty, cold winds and is threatening 300 homes in San Bernardino County.

The following is information about the Sheep fire burning across San Bernardino County:
Fire Statistics:
Acres: 7,128 acres
Containment: 85 percent
Suppression costs to date: $7,560,000
Structures Destroyed:
1 residence, 2 camp buildings, 2 outbuildings, 5 vehicles, 2 pieces of heavy equipment and 4 RVs structures.
Cause: Under Investigation
Mandatory Evacuations:
** All mandatory evacuations have been lifted.
** Mandatory evacuation orders lifted for the community of Wrightwood.
-- Residents with ID will be allowed back into Swarthout Canyon and Lone Pine Canyon.
Road Closures:
-- Lone Pine Canyon Road;
-- The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) from Interstate 15 to the 14 freeway;
-- The public is prohibited from entering the burn area in the San Bernardino National Forest.
Schools
-- Schools in the Snowline Joint Unified School District (Wrightwood/Phelan) were reopened Wednesday.
