Job Fair Held To Aid Unemployed

A job fair was held Wednesday, April 8, in Rancho Cucamonga (file).

Congressman David Dreier hosted a job fair Wednesday in Rancho Cucamonga to help job seekers connect with employers during this tough economic time.
More than 60 employers seeking both full and part-time workers attended the event. Open jobs encompassed health services, sales, security, information technology, public sector and more.
Other organizations in attendance offered training to help people upgrade their job skills.
The job fair also offered free seminars aimed at educating attendees on improving their job-seeking skills.
The event was held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Goldy S. Lewis Community Center at 11200 Base Line in Rancho Cucamonga.
