Americans Are Losing The Battle Against Obesity
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Americans are losing the battle against obesity, and for the baby boomers, that could create a whole new series of health and financial problems.
Many are trying to fight their fat with surgery, but a new report calledÂ
F as in Fat 2009 shows that two-thirds of Americans are overweight and losing their battle against their bulge, and one-third are obese.
Not one state saw a drop in obesity rates. However in 23 states those numbers rose.
That's costing the country billions in healthcare.
