The following is information about the brush fires burning across Southern California:

STATION FIRE
-- Officials said the fire has burned 160,557 acres 250 square miles.
-- The fire is 87 percent contained, with full containment expected on Sept. 15.
-- Two firefighters battling fire were killed in a vehicle crash; 11 others injured.
-- 82 homes, two commercial buildings and dozens of outbuildings destroyed.
-- 5,000 homes, structures threatened.
-- It has cost $50 million dollars to fight the fire.
-- State has offered $100,000 reward; Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a $50,000 reward.

-- The city of El Monte is offering emergency cooling centers/shelters for residents who are seeking refuge from summer heat and unhealthy air quality, can go to the El Monte Library at 3224 Tyler Avenue and the El Monte Senior Center at 3120 Tyler Avenue.
YUCAIPA (PENDLETON) FIRE
-- Officials say the fire has burned more than 860 acres.
-- The blaze ignited three miles away from the larger Oak Glen fire and is still moving at a moderate rate east towards Wildwood Canyon Park.
-- Contained.
-- No reports of injuries or homes burned.
MANDATORY EVACUATIONS
-- All mandatory evacuations lifted for both Glen Oak and Pendleton fires.
-- The former mandatory evacuation zone which included homes in the area around Wildwood Canyon Road is now being labeled a "recommended" evacuation area. Non-residents will not be allowed into the fire area and residents are encouraged to stay away if possible. The boundary areas remain the same.
OAK GLEN FIRE
-- Officials say the fire has burned about 1,159 acres.
-- 95 percent containment.
-- The blaze is threatening 1,000 homes.
-- 1 home damaged.
-- A mandatory evacuation order for this area was changed to "recommended."
RECOMMENDED EVACUATIONS (Oak Glen/Yucaipa)
-- South and southeast portions of Oak Glen
-- Freemont Street North to Avenue E.
-- Ave. E to Wildwood Canyon Rd.
-- Wildwood Canyon Rd. to Oak Glen Rd.
-- Remainder of Oak Glen
Road Closures
-- Oak Glen Road between Chagall Rd and Wildwood Canyon
PET EVACUATION CENTER FOR LARGE ANIMALS
-- Yucaipa Equestrian Center 13273 California Road.
-- For animal emergencies related to the fire, call San Bernardino County Animal Control 1-800-472-5609.
MORRIS FIRE
-- Officials said the fire has burned about 2,168 acres.
-- The fire is 100 percent contained.
-- No structures damaged.
-- 6 injuries reported.
-- Officials say this fire should be fully contained by Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Highway/Street Closures
-- A Forest Closure on Hwy. 39 is still in effect for the San Gabriel Canyon until determination of safe access is assessed for public safety.
