Popular Sauce Becomes Too Hot For Rosemead Factory

Huy Fong Foods May Move To Irwindale

ROSEMEAD (CBS) ― Huy Fong Foods' Sriracha sauce has become too popular for its factory in Rosemead.

The product, which has a green top and a rooster on its bottle, is made from sun-ripened chilies.

It is in many restaurants and is selling so well, it's even available through Web sites such as Amazon.

Huy Fong Foods, Inc. is now working to move its operation to a nearly 23-acre site on Azusa Canyon Road in Irwindale.
