San Bernardino Begins Collecting Gifts For Troops

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (CBS) ― Starting your holiday shopping early? San Bernardino County is hoping shoppers this year won't forget the troops overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The county has already established several collection box locations throughout the county. The drive ends on Dec. 7.

The county is asking for gift cards from department stores, gas stations, grocery stores or toy stores and kids' goys, games, books and small electronics. Pre-paid phone cards are also welcome.
