Film Encourages Women To Consider Sisterhood

(CBS) A new DVD is encouraging devout Catholic women to become nuns.

Sister Pat Phillips, who produced the 30-minute documentary titled "Jesus Calls Women," is hoping to reverse the decline in the number of women who choose to become nuns.

The film focuses on a variety of women and seeks enlighten people who have an outdated idea of what sisterhood is all about.

For example, there are 1.2 million Catholics in the Inland Empire, but there are only 155 nuns in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, according to the San Bernardino County Diocsese.
