Make A PACT, Stay On Track For Safety
Public Awareness Of Commercial Trucks (PACT)
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Each year roughly 5.5 million commercial trucks pass through SR-91 through the city of Anaheim. Most automobile drivers are not aware of what they can do to avoid crashes with commercial vehicles.
When an accident between a passenger vehicle and a large commercial vehicle occurs, the large vehicle will most likely always win, as well as the potential loss of life and victim injuries which can be devastating.
What: The CHP's Commercial Industry Education Program (CIEP) is kicking off a new statewide commercial enforcement campaign called Public Awareness of Commercial Trucks (PACT).
