Social Networking Site To Help Combat Teen Obesity

SOUTH L.A., Calif. (CBS) ― A group of teenagers in the Southland are launching a Web site designed to raise awareness of obesity. Their target audience… other teens.

Some of those involved in the Web site come from low-income neighborhoods, where fast food outlets are readily available and full-service grocery stores are not as easy to come by.

The site, which works like a social networking site, will focus on nutrition and obesity.
