Looking Online For Last Minute Love

(CBS) Looking Online For Last Minute Love

People go out of their way to have a date on Valentine's day.  They ask friends, family and colleagues to set them up - but now the Internet is being folded into the mix.

There are tons of legacy dating sites like Match.com, JDate.com and eHarmony, but a new crop is springing up - using video instead of static profile pictures to help you meet that perfect mate.

WooMe.com is a mix of speed-dating and video chat.  Users log onto the site and pick a room that fits what they're looking for.  Others get in the same room and then the timer starts.  You get a minute of face-to-face video chat with a few prospects to  figure out if you think it could go somewhere.  During each chat you can click to get more time with someone in a later session or forget them forever.  The catch is that the people on the other end of the video chat also get to "WooYou" or pass.  You can only continue with people who mutually Woo'd you.

We visited a party where last minute daters were online at WooMe trying to find love for Valentine's Day.  Did they find it?  Watch the story to find out, or you can just try it yourself.
