The doctor is in - for your sick iPod, that is. 

Apple's official repair program is pretty limited - for a fee they'll basically send you a refurbished unit,without any of your songs or data on it.

But bring your broken pod to Joe Kempe and he'll do his best to help you walk out with it working again - without losing your precious downloads.

He estimates fixing nearly 3,000 iPods in the five years he's been tinkering with them.
