Back To School Students Tech Savvy Bunch

Most are 18 - born in 1990. They're the freshman who will be heading back to school on college campuses across the nation.

Sure, they can IM and text till their fingers hurt, but ask them what an LP is and the record might just skip.

Each year, Beloit College releases the "Mindset List." These are the things that shape the lives of incoming freshman.

A few of the items on this year's list:

GPS Satellite navigation systems have always been available.
Electronic filing of tax returns has always been an option.
IBM has never made typewriters.
Caller ID has always been available on phones.
