Backup Your Cell Phone Contacts
We visited with the guys behind Backup-Pal, a simple gadget that creates a copy of your cell phone contacts for safekeeping.
Sure, tech guys like me sync up their phones to their computer frequently, but that's not how the majority of people operate. If you're normal, you probably just enter in your contacts, one by one, and slowly build up a database of contacts.
Problem is, if you lose your phone or get a new one, it's not easy to transfer over your information. Backup-Pal makes the process a cinch - with no computer necessary.
Just plug in your phone, press a button and your info is copied over. Get a new phone, and plug that in and your info is transferred back to the phone.
The device sells for about $50, and you can use it over and over. It's compatible with a wide variety of phones, including Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and even Blackberry.
