San Bernardino To Hold 3 Free Swine Flu Clinics

San Bernardino County health officials will distribute the H1N1 flu shots and FluMist Saturday at three free health clinics Saturday. However, because of limited supplies, only people in the following priority groups are recommended to get the H1N1 flu shot:
- Pregnant women
- People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age
- Health care and emergency medical personnel
- Anyone from 6 months through 24 years of age
- Anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with certain chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system
The three Public Health Clinics listed below will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:

1647 East Holt Blvd.
Ontario, CA
16453 Bear Valley Road
Hesperia, CA
The H1N1 intranasal FluMist vaccine will also be available at the clinics on Saturday. It will only be given to the following priority groups:
- Healthy children two to 18 years of age
- Children 10 years of age or younger should get two doses (30 days apart) for complete immunizations
- Healthy household contacts, ages 2 to 49, who care for infants 6 months of age or less.
The seasonal flu vaccine will not be available at any of clinics this Saturday. Some health care providers also have the H1N1 vaccine, so people are encouraged to check with their doctor's office.
