Top-Ranked QB Picks Southern Cal

Southern California's top-ranked prep QB Jesse Scroggins has just given an oral commitment to Pete Carroll and the USC Trojans.
Scroggins is entering his senior season at Lakewood High School picked USC over Tennessee and Florida.
In an interview with Sports Central Online's Rahshaun Haylock, Scroggins told Pete Carroll he was going to USC three weeks ago.
After learning of Scroggins' choice of USC, Florida coach Urban Meyer told Scroggins he always has a scholorship with the Gators. While Tennessee's Lane Kiffin never returned Scroggins' call.
Tennessee didn't help themselves when Scroggins' cousin, WR Jerry Anderson told Jesse, the only reason he got an offer from the Vols was to secure Scroggins' commitment.
Tennesse was considered to be a front-runner for his sevices, especially since Scroggins has so much family in the state and with the depth at the USC QB Position.
Scroggins said he has no problem redshirting this season.
Teammate Dion Bailey also is heading to USC.
Other Lakewood commits:
Justin Utupo is Notre Dame bound and WR Kevin Anderson picked Arizona State over LSU.
