Giants general manager Jerry Reese says linebacker Antonio Pierce has been interviewed by NFL security about teammate Plaxico Burress' accidental shooting.
Speaking before New York's game at the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Reese says he isn't sure whether Pierce has spoken to police about what happened Friday night in Manhattan.
Burress shot himself in the right thigh and spent the night in the hospital, the latest dramatic turn in a tumultuous season of fines and suspension for the star receiver.
Pierce, who reportedly was with Burress on Friday, is going to play against the Redskins, Reese says.
