'Pacman' Jones Responds To New Allegations
STUDIO CITY, Calif. (AP) ―
Adam "Pacman" Jones suggests his days with the Dallas Cowboys may not be over.
In an interview for CBS' NFL pregame show that was filmed live at the CBS Broadcast Center in Studio City, the oft-troubled cornerback told interviewer James Brown that not only does he expect to play football next season, he thinks he might be back in Dallas.
Brown then asked if Jones had an inkling that owner Jerry Jones will give him another shot.
Jones grinned and said, "Yeah, I do," but he didn't offer any details to back his assertion.
Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple says the team has no comment.
Dallas released the 25-year-old Jones Wednesday after a turbulent season in which he was suspended six games for an off-field scuffle and made little impact on the field.
'Pacman' Jones was on the roof top of KCBS/KCAL Station in Studio City for CBS' NFL pregame show to clear things up on a report by ESPN's Outside the Lines.
