Jury Ready To Begin Deliberations In O.J. Trial

LAS VEGAS (AP) ― Closing arguments have ended in O.J. Simpson's robbery and kidnapping trial in Las Vegas.

Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass told the jury late Thursday to return the next day to begin deliberations.

Simpson and co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart each face 12 counts in the alleged robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in a casino hotel room last year.

Neither Simpson nor Stewart testified. Simpson's defense contended he was trying only to reclaim property that belonged to him.
