Santana Ready To Rejoin Angels Rotation
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) ―
Ervin Santana came through a bullpen session with no problems, and Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia says the right-hander will be back in the rotation this weekend.
Santana, who threw 3 1-3 innings in a rehab start in the Arizona Summer League on Sunday night, did the bullpen session before the Angels played at Texas on Tuesday. That was a day earlier than expected for the throwing session.
Scioscia says Santana, out since June 12 due to an inflamed right triceps, reported feeling good and ready to pitch again for the AL West-leading Angels.
