Dodger fans, don't despair. The boys in blue will battle to even out the National League Championship Series at one game a piece Friday when they face off against the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 2 of the best-of-seven series.
The Phillies beat out the Dodgers, 8-6, in Game 1 Thursday, with Raul Ibanez and Carlos Ruiz hitting three-run home runs.
Four of the Philadelphia batters who walked came around to score.
History is already against the Dodgers. Since the National League Championship Series went to a best-of-seven format in 1985, the team winning Game 1 has won 16 of 23 series, including 14 of the last 16.
