Andruw Jones has agreed to a $500,000 minor league contract with the Texas Rangers, the team's official web site reports.

Jones, 31, signed a two-year, $36.2 million deal with the Dodgers in December 2007, but was released last month.

He hit .158 in 209 at-bats in 2008.
