Lakers Win Preseason Tilt With Clippers
LOS ANGELES (AP) ―
Andrew Bynum overcame a cold-shooting start, scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to help the Los Angeles Lakers overcome a 15-point deficit and beat the Clippers 114-108 on Sunday night.
Shannon Brown made five of his first six shots off the bench and scored 19 points, seven of them in the final 3:43, after missing all six shots in a start against the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night.
Bynum started out 0 for 5 from the field, but converted a three-point play with 0.4 seconds left in the half to cut the Clippers' lead to 60-57 after the Lakers trailed by as many as 15 points in the second quarter.
Reserve Craig Smith had 26 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers.
