Former Bruin Baron Davis Coming Home To Clippers

(CBS)

Baron Davis has signed a five-year, $65 million deal to become a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Davis was rumored to have agreed in priciple to the deal last week but had to wait until Wednesday to have the deal formalized.

The move comes on the heals of Elton Brand's surprising departure from Los Angeles to join the 76ers.  Corey Maggette also left the Clippers and is expected to sign with Golden State.

Davis went to Crossroads High School in Santa Monica before playing at UCLA.

He averaged almost 22 points and 8 assists last year for the Golden State Warriors
