Columbus Day: What's Open, What's Closed

(CBS) In observance of Columbus Day on Monday, government agencies will be closed.

Closures include all federal, state, county and city offices, courts, libraries and animal shelters.

There will be no mail delivery services. Most banks will also be closed.

However, schools, transit, trash services and retail stores will be open.
