2007: Year Of The Recall

Recalls used to be mundane notices consumers hardly noticed, but recently more and more commonplace items are being recalled over fears of e. Coli, lead or even date rape drug poisoning. These are some of the more newsworthy recalls over the past year.

Great timing: right after the Thanksgiving holiday in 2006, the HoneyBaked Foods company recalled nearly 47,000 pounds of its ham and turkey products, because they could be contaminated with Listeria.
