Celebrities Touched By Murder

In fact, being famous does not guarantee that one will not be touched by the most unspeakable horror of all, the murder of a loved one.

The Righteous Brothers, Bobby Hatfieled and Bill Medley (right) enjoyed much recording success and had hits from 1963 - 1975 -- most notably the classic "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin', said to be the most played song on the radio ever. The duo continued to perform together until Hatfield died in 2003. Medley also had a #1 hit with Jennifer Warnes in 1987 with "("I've Had) The Time of My Life" from "Dirty Dancing." It was in 1976, when Karen Klaas, Medley's ex-wife -- whom he was still good friends with and mother to his son -- was raped and murdered in her Hermosa Beach home. Detectives re-opened the cold case in 2009.
