    Dr. Jan Adams, the doctor caught up in the controversy involving Donda West and her death following plastic surgery, also has DUIs in his past. TMZ reports that Dr. Adams was arrested on March 31, 2006 for a DUI. He plead no contest in what was reported to be his second drunk driving charge. The first one was in September 2002. Third time is the charm? TMZ reports that Dr. Adams was arrested on suspicion of DUI for a third time June 2008 in Solano, California. Police said Adams was driving his Jaguar on the wrong way on an offramp. Adams has been allegedly sued for malpractice several times. He is not certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and, according to TMZ the doctor's medical license has expired.

Apparently, a lot of celebrities haven't gotten the memo about the evils and dangers of driving while intoxicated. Fortunately, most of the time they've been busted, innocent lives were not lost.
