Apparently, a lot of celebrities haven't gotten the memo about the evils and dangers of driving while intoxicated. Fortunately, most of the time they've been busted, innocent lives were not lost.

California Highway Patrol Lt. Jay Bart says Republican state Sen. Roy Ashburn, 55, was spotted driving erratically about 2:10 a.m. March 3rd in downtown Sacramento. Ashburn was arrested after failing a sobriety test. He represents a district that includes Kern, Tulare, Inyo and San Bernardino counties.
