Man, 61, Allegedly Stalked Boy, Kissed Him On Lips
PALMDALE, Calif. (AP) ―
A 61-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stalking a preteen boy at an Antelope Valley elementary school and kissing him on the lips.
Jorge Aparicio pleaded not guilty Thursday to two felony counts of lewd acts upon a child. He's in jail with bail set at $1 million.
The boy told school officials he had been approached eight different times by Aparicio in the Joshua Hills Elementary School cafeteria restroom.
Aparicio allegedly gave the boy $10 for a kiss, then $2 for a second kiss.
Sheriff's Sgt. Dan Scott says Aparicio regularly took lunches to his nephews in the school cafeteria.
The sheriff's department set up a "sting" operation at the school on April 11 and Aparicio allegedly gave his nephews their lunch and followed one boy into the restroom, where he was arrested.
The sergeant says Aparicio "admitted to have a sexual interest in the child."
