Garden Grove Teacher Allegedly Grabbed Girl's Butt
SANTA ANA, Calif.
A Garden Grove Unified School District teacher was arrested on suspicion of grabbing the buttocks of a 12-year-old girl in a Santa Ana Wal-Mart store, police said.
Christopher Micah Brazelton, 36, of Irvine, was arrested at about 9 p.m. Wednesday at the store at 3600 W. McFadden Ave. A couple had seen him touch the girl and pursued him when he tried to leave, Santa Ana police Corporal Jose Gonzalez said.
Brazelton and the girl were walking in opposite directions in the same aisle when he "leaned over and grabbed the buttocks" of the girl, Gonzalez said.
The couple was walking behind Brazelton and saw what happened.
Once police learned that Brazelton is a first-grade teacher in the Garden Grove Unified School District, there was immediate concern that there could be other victims, Gonzalez said.
