4 Arrested, School On Lockdown After 600 Fight

Police said as many as 600 students were involved in a fight Friday at Locke High School in South Los Angeles.

Four people were arrested and a school went on lockdown after a fight between black and Hispanic students raged, according to authorities.
Police were sent to Locke High School shortly after 1 p.m. Friday afternoon.
The fight allegedly involved some 600 students.
Some minor injuries were also report. The extent of those injuries was not known but a fire department official said no one was transported to the hospital.
Police were sent to Locke High School, 325 E. 111th St., to quell a disturbance call said Susan Cox of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
It was also unclear if all the people arrested were students.
According to KCAL 9 News, the fight was allegedly between black and Hispanic students.
