Donations Being Accepted To Aid Wildfire Victims

Wildfire victims in California face may face many challenges in the upcoming months as they work to move beyond this life-altering disaster.

The
American Red Cross - Greater Los Angeles Chapter, as well as the
Goodwill Southern California and the
Salvation Army are accepting donations for wildfire victims.
Money, clothing, food and pet food donations are needed.

Goodwill online or call (888) 4-GOODWILL for more information on how to donate. You can also call (888) 446-6394 to find out where donations can be dropped off.

Pet food donations were being sought by the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services. Donations can be dropped off at the North Central facility near downtown Los Angeles, located at 3201 Lacy Street. Call (888) 452-7381 for more information.
The
Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA, which has been serving as a pet evacuation center, is requesting monetary donations. The center is also in need of cat liter donations, as well as food for cats and dogs. Items can be dropped of at 361 S. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 792-7151.

Friends of fallen firefighter Arnaldo "Arnie" Quinones are going to hold a tattoo marathon session and all proceeds will go to Arnie's widow and unborn child. (Due in three weeks)
The marathon tattoo session starts Saturday, Sept 5th at 10 a.m. and goes through Sunday the 6th until, according to one of the tattoo artists, "there is no one left to tattoo."
Whether you want to get a tattoo, or not, donations to the fund will still be accepted, according to a friend. One of Arnie's tattoos was featured on the show "LA Ink."
The Tattoo Marathon will be held at American Made Tattoo, 2873 Sierra Hwy., Rosamond, CA 661-256-7093. Additional parking and food will be available next door at The Wayside Cafe, as well.
