LOS ANGELES Legendary Pop Star Michael Jackson passed away Thursday at the age of 50. He was reportedly rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after suffering a cardiac arrest. The following are messages of condolences to Jackson's family.

I remember getting the "Thriller" album when I was about 2 years old and couldn't stop listening to the music. Michael, you will always be remembered as a the Greatest Entertainer that ever lived and through your persona as a human being who helped thousandts of people. Rest In Peace MJ.

I just couldn't believe that Michael had passed. I loved this guy when I was growing up. I had buttons of him on my jacket and curtains, posters on my walls, magazines, the doll with his famous glove, tapes, I even recorded the making of We Are The World just cause of Michael!! The biggest thing was when my dad surprised me with Jackson Victory Tour concert tickets for my 12 birthday!! omg!!! I just died!! I bought a cap that says Jacksons on it that I still have along with the ticket stub! I just want to share about Michael. When I was 8 years old my Dad and I met him and it was the best moment of my childhood! Just to get his autograph and shake his hand was so awesome and I wish it could have been more....his music was the soundtrack of my childhood and his legacy effected me in so many ways. I am sorry for your lost, i know first hand what it feel like to loose family member. please investigate that personal doctor he really knows how michael died, i know drugs were administered before going to bed micheal died of an overdose of a combination of prescription drugs.the night before and he was found dead the next morning in which he couldnt be revived. god bless the family.

Michael has meant the world to me since before I can even remember. My mother told me I started listening and mimicking him since I was around 2. I learned how to moonwalk one of his signature moves when I was still young too. I remember when History was released. I went and bought the VHS and watched it daily for years. When Michael's life took a nasty turn in the media I was behind him 100% never believing a word about any of the allegations. Wow Michael. I am so sorry.I remeber as a young girl in Flint, Michigan I spent my last to see the Jackson Five appear at the center there. I was so in love with Jermaine. But my wall was covered with posters of the Jackson Five. I grow up on their music, and still love it. I'm still tring to except the fact that he's gone. He was a true showmen. And the man had moves. He will be greatly missed. A legend gone. I send my deepest regreats to his family from mine.

I feel like a big part of my past is missing now! I loved his music and I still do! I still have the "Thriller" album. My cheerleading squad did a routine to "Beat It" (my favorite song). My fondest memories of Michael Jackson began when he appeared on the Ed Sullivan show as the Jackson 5 signing 'I Want You Back.' I could not wait to buy the debut album. After that, I was a J5 groupie I bought ALL albums by the Jackson 5 (I still have my vinyl). As a teenager, I remember my girl friends and myself had a favorite J5 but no matter which one you liked, it was Michael who captured your heart and attention, he would sing an old Motown song and made it his own. Ex 'Who's Loving You,' 'The I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage' and 'Can You Remember' just to name a few. From then on, you knew he was predestined for prominence. While Michael is no longer with us, he and his music will live in my heart forever. Whether performing as the Jackson 5 or as a solo artist, in my mind I am saying, "Hey I remember when that song came out." Funny you have the tendency to reminisce about what was going on in your life at the time you heard a new song by Michael on the radio. The memories are fond and all I can say is WOW what a brilliant human being the world has lost. I can hear Michael singing to his fans 'You Are Not Alone' how appropriate to let us know he lives on in our hearts. I in shock and disbelief, the public have been insensitive towards Michael and his family by treating him in the exact manner when he was living. My concern is that ever since he passed I have heard some disgusting jokes about Michael. For goodness sake, let him rest in peace I am certain that we are someone's mother, father, sibling, or child and would not appreciate all the defamation (celebrity or not) if we lost a loved one. If the public loved him so much as his song said 'Leave Me Alone' the nonsense needs to stop now. Let us show some consideration towards his family, and stop digging up dirt. If we fans loved Michael, (because Michael DEFINITELY loved his fans), we should extend that same love to his family. I would like to thank God for giving Michael Joseph Jackson to parents such Joseph and Katherine Jackson. As a mother, my heart hurts for Mrs. Jackson; all women should have her as a role model as how a mother should be, and perhaps there would not be so many black men in prison. But I am sad that Michael did not make his comeback because as a 62 year old woman I would have loved to attend. However, I will see him in heaven. All the bad things that are said about your son Michael are mean and hateful, but you have showed a whole lot of class by not letting the haters get you down. I remember my first concert when I saw the Jackson 5 in Detroit's Olympia Stadium, there was a girl who scaled down the back curtain and ran and grabbed Michael, then security grabbed her! I remember the afternoon @ Astoria Studios, Queens, NY when my daughter @ lunch time, sat in the dressing room, shared a veggie plate with Michael in between shooting the Wiz...I remember laughing to myself as she told him, he needed to eat more, he was "skinny like her brother" They both laughed, he said "sure". It was at that moment that I saw just a kid...a sweet young man...just for a fleeting moment... Then the production assistant came in, told my daughter she was needed on the set...They hugged, said see ya' and I never saw that particular young man again...But watched the growth of the the most gentle, kind, giving, sensitive extremely talented young man evolve into manhood...in age and physicality....His childlike essence was the signature by which he lived his life...Just imagine...Heaven's talent pool has just added another soul... As we 'pay tribute' to this beloved artist, let us not forget, he was a son, a brother and a father. We must not falter in our grief so as to fail to express our gratitude to the physical creators who brought him into our world and shared his talents with us. We must recognize that though we may not be able to feel the "sorrow' of losing a child, we must extend our respect and utmost condolences. I just couldn't believe that Michael had passed. I loved this guy when I was growing up. I had buttons of him on my jacket and curtains, posters on my walls, magazines, the doll with his famous glove, tapes, I even recorded the making of We Are The World just cause of Michael!!
