California Lottery
The California Lottery will host events for the Lottery to directly interact with the public and allow them to experience a simulated version of the new California Lottery TV game show while giving away prizes to encourage them to purchase Lottery products.
· Mall Tour Los Angeles Area: Westfield Parkway Shopping Centre in Arcadia all day on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24, 10am to 9pm
· The Tour will adopt one game from the actual show - SafeCracker and bring it to life in a scaled down and interactive version that will feature prizes.
· How to Play:
· Two consumers will participate at the same time, playing a simulated version of the SafeCracker game segment from the Make Me A Millionaire TV show. The two contestants alternate picks in order to open up ten safes. A random method will be used to determine which contestant picks first. Seven of the safes will have various numbers of Scratcher tickets/prizes inside and three of the safes will be empty. For each safe the contestant opens, the number of Scratchers/prizes inside is added to their total winnings. The game ends when a player has opened two empty safes. The contestant with two empty safes receives 2 Scratcher tickets and the other contestant wins the total number of Scratcher tickets/prizes that were revealed during the game. Any rule violation will automatically disqualify the participant.
· Players who participate in the event have a chance to win Make Me A Millionaire Scratchers® tickets and California Lottery $10 promotional gift cards. The California Lottery reserves the right to substitute prizes on an as is needed basis.
· Two contestants will compete against each other, with a host moderating the action.
· No purchase necessary, must be 18 or older to play, contestants can play once each day.
· This will be a chance for the community to experience California's newest game show, "Make Me A Millionaire".
