Halloween Flashlights Recalled Due To Burn Hazard

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Halloween-themed flashlights sold by Target are being recalled becausing of a burn hazard.

The mini and standard-sized flashlights that were manufactured in China have been sold at Target stores throughout the country from August 2009 through Sept. 2009. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there have been eight reports of the flashlights overheating and melting.

There was also one report of burns to the hand.

Consumers who have bought either of these flashlights should stop using them immediately and return it to any Target store for a full refund.
