A small earthquake rattled residents Sunday morning about 55 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the 3.3 magnitude earthquake hit about 7:30 a.m. Sunday in San Bernardino.
San Bernardino County Sheriffs said there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The San Jacinto Fault -- an offshoot of the San Andreas Fault -- runs through the area.
Saturday night, a pair of small earthquakes shook the Santa Monica Mountains northwest of Malibu. They were centered in a rugged and lightly populated section of the coastal mountain range south of Thousand Oaks.
