3.5 Quake Rattles Beaumont Area
BEAUMONT, Calif. (AP) ―
A small earthquake shook the Banning Pass area of northern Riverside County early Friday.
There are no reports of damage.
The U.S. Geological Survey in Pasadena says the magnitude-3.5 quake struck at 3:03 a.m. and was centered four miles north-northeast of Beaumont, which is about 80 miles east of Los Angeles along Interstate 10.
