A magnitude-4.0 earthquake has hit the greater Los Angeles area, but authorities say there were no immediate injuries or damage.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the temblor occurred around 7:15 a.m. Monday and was centered 2 miles east of Loma Linda in San Bernardino County.
The city has a population of 21,000 and is home to Loma Linda University and Medical Center.
