3.9-Magnitude Quake Rocks San Diego County

A magnitude 3.9 quake hit San Diego County Thursday morning.

A small earthquake Thursday struck a sparsely populated section of San Diego County, but no damage or injuries were reported.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 3.9 quake struck shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday and was centered 4 miles west of the community of Borrego Springs. It occurred at a depth of nearly one-and-half miles.
The San Diego County Sheriff's Department said it did not receive any calls about the quake.
Several tiny aftershocks have followed.
