Small Quake Shakes California-Mexico Border

CALEXICO, Calif. (AP) ― A small earthquake has struck near the California-Mexico border but there are no reports of damage or injuries.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 struck around 7:00 p.m. Saturday.

It hit near the Mexican town of Guadalupe Victoria and about 31 miles southeast of the California desert city of Calexico.

A Calexico police dispatcher says no one reported any damage or injuries.
