LA Police Arrest 2 In Breakup Of Dog-Fighting Ring
LOS ANGELES (AP) ―
Los Angeles police say they have made two arrests and rescued 17 dogs in the breakup of a dog fighting operation.
Police say the dog-fighting outfit was a major player in the illegal training and breeding of animals for fighting.
Of the 17 dogs, many were scarred and injured, and all were suffering from severe dermatitis due to fleas.
Police Chief William Bratton and other officials are expected to provide more details about the operation during a news conference later Monday.
