21 Still Hospitalized After Metrolink Crash

LOS ANGELES Twenty-one people remained hospitalized as a result of the Metrolink train disaster that killed 25 people, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.

The paper's researchers determined that the crash, eight days ago, sent 86 people to hospitals in the San Fernando Valley, Westwood, Hollywood and Ventura County.

As of Friday, the paper said that all but 21 had been released.

Of those 21 people, four remained in critical condition, two in serious condition, three in stable condition, and 12 were in fair or good condition.
