 UCLA Blood Center Puts Out Call For Donors

 Metrolink, Freight Train Derailment
  Authorities have confirmed 24 were killed and more than 100 people injured after a Metrolink train and a Union Pacific train collided in Chatsworth, near Topanga Canyon Boulevard and the 118 Freeway.

  • Metrolink Train 111 from Los Angeles' Union Station was en route to Moorpark
  • At least 25 killed
  • About 135 injured including 45 critical, 40 serious and 40 minor
  • 40 patients flown to hospitals by helicopter
  • 7 Union Pacific cars overturned
