  Here are some of the reports that we received from our viewers, describing what they experienced during the earthquake.

I was at the Angels game sitting in the upper level. It was like a rolling motion. It lasted for about 5-10 seconds. Practically the whole stadium felt it because the crowd went "whoa".

I was at a track meet on a field and was texting and all of a sudden the ground underneath me started to vibrate and roll, it was only for about 6 seconds. It was funny becasue you could hear people screaming and stuff and there were about a 100 people on the field.

I was in my business writing class at Cal State Fullerton when the earthquake hit. At first it was a sudden jolt, then it intensity increased with each second. Lasted for about 5 seconds. No damage here. Just a few people who were freaked out. Too bad class wasn't cancelled.

I was sitting on my couch watching House, and felt a short rocking back and forth, and then longer swaying type motions...just for a few seconds, but scared me nonetheless. I'm also on the third floor, so I tend to feel even the small quakes. I've lived in Orange County my whole life, and have never gotten used to earthquakes. It's a scary feeling, feeling helpless.

First one happened when I was at Hair Salon in Yorba Linda. It shook hard and the girls started to run out the door. During the 8:27 earthquake, I was upstairs in my Yorba Linda house when I thought my house was going to raise up! It lasted about 15 seconds and some items came off the shelf & kitchen door open.

I had just got home. My mom was sitting at the table and I sat down. Then my mom asked if I moved the table and I told her I thought she was moving it. But it was the quake we felt.
