A man accused of killing his boss and a colleague at a Vernon lumberyard Monday was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at East Los Angeles Superior Court.
Saul Gastelum Moreno, 51, allegedly shot and killed his boss, Alan Bohnhoff, after an argument at work. He is also accused of fatally shooting co-worker, Jaime Sanchez.
Bohnhoff was reportedly the owner of Bohnhoff Lumber Co. in Vernon.
Moreno allegedly tried to kill the owner's son as well, Deputy District Attorney Victor Rodriguez said.
Moreno was detained after a short pursuit Monday and was being held without bail.
He faces one count of attempted murder and two counts of murder with the special circumstance of multiple murders, which makes him eligible for the death penalty.
Prosecutors will later decide whether to seek the death penalty.
