Woman Killed At Party In Gang-Related Shooting

LOS ANGELES A 36-year-old woman was killed during a gang-related shooting attack in South Los Angeles, a police spokesperson said.

The shooting victim, Marlene Donaldson, was attending a party at about 9:40 p.m. at South Central Avenue at East 119th Street, said Los Angeles police spokesperson Norma Eisenman. Unknown persons got out of a vehicle approached Donaldson and shot her, Eisenman said.

Donaldson was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspects' vehicle was described only as a dark-colored sedan, Eisenman said.
